zeeBase.com exists to bring the wonderful world of old magazines like Popular Science, Popular Mechanics and others, to new generations. I love browsing through old magazines for hidden bits of treasure from another era, when we were still makers of things we use and consume. It is a fascinating world of how-to articles, useful tips for your home, shop and cars of the day, and much more. I’ve been sharing these treasures with friends and family for few years and now is the time to share it with all of you.
I hope you will join in the community of people who will enjoy these treasures as much I do. Hopefully, some of us will take the challenge of actually utilizing some of these ideas, perhaps build a thing or two. My name is Martin Bassani. I have been creating successful on-line niche communities since 1994. For the last two years I’ve been home-schooling our son; this year he is back in a regular brick and mortar school. It was exactly this home-schooling experience which has steered me towards the old books and magazines in a quest for appropriate hands-on projects for our young people.
