Whiting Williams

This article by Whiting Williams describes the hellish working conditions in a brick manufacturing plant. It is an eye-opener and it explains strong labor unrests at the time when the article was written.  Whiting Williams spent of 1919 disguised as the lowest laborer.  This article is part of this experience.
